General Information

The Department of City Planning, led by the City Planner, is primarily responsible for overseeing the city’s contracts and entrepreneurial ventures tied to public projects. The Mayor and City Council play a supporting role by proposing plans and ideas for contracts and services, while the Department of City Planning takes the lead in deciding on, executing and developing these projects.
