About the Job Position

We are looking for a bus operators to transport passengers in a comfortable, safe and timely manner.

Bus operators are the backbone of our department. Without them - we are nothing. It's your responsibility to carry our passengers on routes safely and as smoothly as possible. All of our operators start of as trainees, so no previous experience is neccessary.

Operate our buses on regular route services following a set timetable and set list of lines


Operate our buses on special events


Make sure the vehicle you operate is fit for service before taking it out


Ensure the safety of yourself, your vehicle and passengers while on duty


Provide information to the passengers should they have any


Help passengers who have difficulties getting on and off the vehicle


Report any incidents to the higher ups


Follow the law at all times


Make sure your vehicle is ready for next trip after you return it, including refueling and washing it. If there are any issues, immediately report it.

About the Department

Department of Transportation is responsible for all those functions and operations of the city relating to transportation including, the planning, development and oversight of mass transit operations within the City of Los Santos, including municipal corporation operations or a private contracted corporation operations.

The department is furthermore responsible for the acquisition, renovation and maintenance of mass transportation facilities utilizing the provisions of section applicable to acquisitions of property for City use.

About the Salary & Paygroup

  • The current Junior Bus Operator wage is set at: $45,000 + bonuses.
  • A supportive, consolidated and dynamic team environment.
  • Junior Bus Operators are assigned to Paygrade II.
  • Career advancements within the Department.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must have attained the age of 21
  • The applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal English skills.
  • The applicant must have a legal address in the State of San Andreas
  • The applicant may not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor
  • The applicant must possess a current driving license and a reasonable driving record

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and 1 to less than 3 years directly related experience
  • No previous work experience is required. The applicant receives on-the-job training
  • The applicant is expected to be in good physical condition and have the ability to carry out manual labour
