Department of Public Works Full-time Public Works HQ, Elgin Avenue Parking Enforcement

About the Job Position

Responsible for enforcing parking regulations in a specific area. This can include issuing tickets to vehicles that are parked illegally, such as in a no parking zone or in a spot reserved for people with disabilities. May also be responsible for directing traffic, ensuring that vehicles are parked in designated areas, and helping to maintain order in parking lots and garages. Parking Officers are the key to supporting law enforcement and civilian calls by impounding vehicles according to the penal code.

About the Salary & Paygroup

  • The current Junior Parking Officer wage is set at: $45,000 + bonuses.
  • A supportive, consolidated and dynamic team environment.
  • Junior Parking Officers are assigned to Paygrade II.
  • Career advancements within the Department.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must have attained the age of 21
  • The applicant must have a legal address in the State of San Andreas
  • The applicant may not have been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor
  • The applicant must posses a current driving license and a reasonable driving record

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and 1 to less than 3 years directly related experience
  • No previous work experience is required. The applicant receives on-the-job training
  • The applicant is expected to be in good physical condition and have the ability to carry out manual labour
