About the Job Position

The Municipal Affairs Agent represents the bridge between the government and people, which moves through diverse needs and brings coherence to the complexity of local life in face of its challenges.

The Municipal Affairs Agent acts as the liaison between the Administration and the public, ensuring that the voices of the community and civic institutions are heard, respected, and reflected in local policies.

We're part of the leading force behind the implementation of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, coordinating efforts across government departments and civil society to meet the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through community engagement, participatory policy-making, and interdepartmental coordination, ensuring that the principles of equity, environmental resilience, and social well-being remain at the forefront of Los Santos' development.

About the Department

The Office of Municipal Affairs is a branch of the Office of the Mayor and works closely with the departments across the city and other government agencies to serve its citizens. It exists to strengthen democratic governance, enhance transparency and ensure inclusive public service delivery through open dialogue and collaborative governance.

About the Salary & Paygroup

  • The current Municipal Affairs Agent wage is set at: $75,000.
  • A supportive, consolidated and dynamic team environment.
  • Municipal Affairs Agents are assigned to Paygrade VIII.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must have attained the age of 21
  • The applicant must have a legal address in the State of San Andreas
  • The applicant may not have been convicted of any felonies and/or misdemeanors.
  • The applicant must possess a current driving license and a reasonable driving record

Desired Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Political Science, Environmental Studies, Social Work, Economics, or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and familiarity with public sector implementation strategies;
  • Demonstrated experience in community outreach, public speaking, and policy advocacy;
  • Proficiency in writing community reports and governmental correspondence.
