About the Job Position
The Deputy Paleto Sawmill Director supervises and manages the daily operations of the Paleto Bay Sawmill. Amongst the main responsibilities of the Deputy Paleto Sawmill Director are:
- Overseeing the setting of the shifts at the sawmill;
- Managing the foremen / middle management teams;
- Keeping close communication with the employees, the union representatives, the Paleto Sawmill Director, and the City Operations Officer;
- Directly supervising the shifts whenever is needed;
- Handling employee situations, complaints and issues;
- Handling the budget requests, overseeing the salaries and the compensations towards the employees;
- Developing growth projects, cooperating with other City agencies and handling environmental issues around the sawmill.

The Paleto Bay Sawmill is a company / department under the Los Santos City Government. As a pillar in the local economy and production, the sawmill is the main actor in the forestry and wood industry. The Paleto Bay Sawmill operates in the Paleto Forest are and it is responsible for wood and timber production, reforestation and keeping a stable environment in it's operating area.
About the Salary & Paygroup
- The current Deputy Paleto Sawmill Director wage is set at: $95,000 + bonuses.
- A supportive, consolidated and dynamic team environment.
- Department / Office Deputy Directors are assigned to Paygrade XII.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- The applicant must have attained the age of 28.
- The applicant must have a legal address in the State of San Andreas.
- The applicant may not have been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor.
- The applicant must possess a current driving license and a reasonable driving record.
- Applicants must either be currently unemployed or willing to resign from their current employment upon acceptance.
- Experience in the wood production and processing field.
- Ability to work under pressure and under deadlines.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree or a master's degree. Your bachelor's degree should include or was supplemented by any of the following fields: Forestry, Ecology or Business Management. An equivalent level gained through work experience may be considered.
- Strong understanding of municipal procedures, interdepartmental coordination, and public sector workflows.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage projects under pressure.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to participate in field-based operational assessments.
